The mobile barista diaries: Edition 4

It’s been a busy summer here at The Barista

The sun may not have shone half as much as last year, but we’ve been just as busy this summer. If not busier! During the period between April and June alone, we took our mobile coffee services to 56 different events at 47 venues in 5 countries. Serving a staggering 39,138 cups of coffee!

Highlights have included a roadshow of 11 different events for one brand. This required some serious logistics and planning, but it was fantastic getting to know the Xero team and their prospects better at multiple events.    

BIBA came around and took the title of the busiest event of the year so far. We had 29 members of staff out at coffee bars around the event and a total of 3,998 drinks were served. For us, BIBA is always a test of the scalability of our mobile coffee services, so it’s rewarding when everything goes to plan.
