THE REQUIREMENT

With over 150 suppliers and service providers from around the world in attendance, GEO Business is a major event where standing out from the crowd is key. Leica Geosystems wanted to create a truly memorable impression with the addition of hot and cold drinks served at their exhibition stand, which is where we stepped in.

Alongside our signature coffee service, Leica Geosystems wanted a refreshing cold drink option for guests. We provided apple and orange juices which were served alongside coffee from an eye-catching U-shaped bar built by the skilled team at Damn Good.

THE CHALLENGE

GEO Business is a busy event that attracts a constant flow of attendees, so our main challenge was maintaining efficient service throughout. Our goal was to serve as many guests as possible while maintaining the exceptional quality and consistency that The Barista is known for.

To meet the challenge, we had a team of three skilled baristas – quite an unusual amount for us, but necessary for delivering a flawless experience for the client. Meticulous preparation and monitoring of stock levels throughout each day were crucial to ensure a seamless service with no delays.

We were delighted to welcome Leica Geosystems as a returning customer, marking our third successful collaboration. GEO Business was a success, and our team provided a constant stream of coffees and juices over the course of the two-day event.

The results speak for themselves: we served an impressive 1,305 hot drinks at the event, with 72 bottles of milk and nearly 16kg of coffee used. The addition of a third barista was crucial to our success at this event, allowing us to seamlessly serve drinks, keep on top of stock levels and maintain our high standards.
