The Ordinary’s four-day immersive Shoreditch pop-up was built to be shared. A DJ, lab-inspired interactive spaces and a launch party all open to the public. They needed a coffee bar that felt like part of the event.

Can you brand the coffee bar to match our activation?

Yes, fully. The bar unit, cups, barista aprons and cappuccino stencils can all carry your branding. We're used to working from an agency brief, so if you've got a specific look in mind, share it with us and we'll work to it. Branded items need artwork signed off three weeks before your event date.
How many drinks can you serve at a busy activation?

One barista can serve up to 500 drinks in an eight-hour day. For high-footfall events, a second barista increases output by around 50%. Tell us your expected numbers and we'll recommend the right setup.
What's on the menu?

Our standard menu covers espresso-based coffees, speciality teas, Belgian hot chocolate, milk alternatives. Iced coffees, iced matcha lattes, freshly blended smoothies and juices can all be added. If you want a signature drink tied to your launch, talk to us and we'll let you know what's possible.
What does a mobile coffee bar look like?

Our bars are counter-style units – self-contained and fully brandable. We don't operate from a van, truck or converted bus as standard. We bring everything needed to serve: the bar, the equipment, the barista and the coffee, and we can work in most spaces indoors or out.
Do you handle setup and takedown?

Yes, everything. We arrive, set up the bar, test the power and equipment, and we're ready to serve when your activation starts. At the end, we pack down and clear away.
What power and water do you need?

Each coffee bar needs two standard sockets: one dedicated 3kw socket for the espresso machine and one 1kw socket for the grinder and other equipment. No mains plumbing required. We bring all our own water and manage waste on-site.
Can you capture visitor data at our activation?

Yes – that's what SmartServe is for. Visitors place their order via a branded tablet and share their details in the process. You can ask custom questions, build a list of opted-in leads and gather audience insights, all GDPR-compliant.
Are you insured and certified for public events?

Yes. We carry public liability and employer's liability insurance, and provide event-specific risk assessments and PAT test certificates for every booking. These are shared with you ahead of the event.
Can you work across multiple cities at the same time?
